I heard a story about a husband that left for work one morning.
As he walked out the door, he noticed the kid's toys that were strewn about the family room floor.
When he returned home from work that evening, he walked in the door and there, still strewn about the family room floor lay the kid's toys.
Of course, now the husband thinks that the wife has done nothing all day but lie around and watch TV....when in fact, she has picked those toys up ten times during the day.
Lesson to agents:
We can be busy behind the scenes....working very hard, but if we don't communicate with our clients about all that is going on...keeping them informed...they don't have that perception.

I have to say this is a very simple, yet intuitive example of perception. As a relatively new agent I look at this story as a very friendly reminder to pause, step back and make sure the flow of communication is consistent. I look forward to your upcoming blogs!
